The mayor said the village has been shorted state shared revenues in recent years and reiterated support for full funding of state shared revenues.
Mayor Peekau said the IML proposals are broadly considered common‑sense by municipalities across political spectrums and that the board should be aware of the league’s priorities as they affect local governance. He asked the trustees to note these items and said staff would continue to track legislative developments. No formal board action was taken on the IML items during the meeting.
