Orland Park trustees approve $5.8 million in payments, renew software support and pass several ordinances

Orland Park—oard of Trustees on an early-January meeting approved routine financial and administrative measures, including $5,810,496.62 in accounts payable, a software maintenance renewal and a contract change order for emergency repairs at the Orland Park Health and Fitness Center.

The board approved a consent agenda of routine items and voted separately on a handful of measures that drew brief discussion: a renewal of Harris ERP enterprise software maintenance at $69,046.98; a contract change order adding $34,576 for emergency wall and tile repairs at the village fitness center (the item listed a prior contracted amount of $92,956.25 and a not-to-exceed total of $127,532.25); and an amended special-use permit to allow demolition of the Marcus Theater parking garage at 16350 La Grange Road. The board also adopted ordinances adjusting the municipal code on video gaming licenses (Title 7, Chapter 18) and Class B liquor licenses (Title 7, Chapter 4), and passed a salary ordinance amendment reclassifying a position in the police department.

Why it matters: The accounts-payable approval covers the village—ash-flow and operating obligations between Dec. 17, 2024, and Jan. 6, 2025.
