The amendment to item 4A corrected dimensions the applicant originally listed for two indoor areas at 2400 West Adams Street. A council member said city law required the airport to cover all potential areas where liquor service could occur rather than a smaller subset; the motion to amend was described as aligning the application with that request. The amendment passed on a unanimous roll-call vote, recorded as 5-0.
After the amendment passed, the council voted on the main motion for the Tailwind application. The main motion carried on a unanimous vote.
Separately, Mark Lawson, president of Zipline Brewing, appeared to confirm that manager Kevin Clark had scheduled required training for Feb. 13 and that the ownership change was proceeding. The manager application for Kevin Clark at Zipline Brewing Company, Beer Hall (5740 Hyco Drive, Suite B) was introduced by Councilor Shoeb and approved by unanimous vote.
No public opposition was recorded for either item during the meeting. The votes were recorded as carried 5-0.
