Ashley, representing Waffle Lab Boulder LLC (GBA Lab Bar and Bites), gave the monthly status report to the Beverage Licensing Authority on December 18.

Ashley said the business has turned in 23 IDs recently, many detected by a new ID scanner. She said some matches were flagged by a recent cover charge that prompted staff to scrutinize names and credit‑card matches. “The scanner has been helping for sure,” she said.

She told the authority Waffle Lab will close for the winter break starting the coming Friday and intends to reopen around January 4, but final staffing decisions could change that date. Licensing staff requested an email with exact closed and reopen dates; the licensee agreed to send the dates to licensing staff at licensing@bouldercolorado.gov.

Authority members thanked Ashley for the update and said they would confirm whether the regular monthly check‑in schedule continues after this final monthly report. The licensing manager confirmed this was the last of a three‑month check‑in schedule for Waffle Lab.
