The Franklin City Board of Zoning Appeals opened its Jan. 2 meeting by re-electing its chair for 2025 and appointing William Scales as vice chair.

A motion to retain the current chair was made and seconded; the board voted in favor by voice. Board Member William Scales was nominated for vice chair, seconded and approved by voice vote. The panel then approved the Dec. 5, 2024 meeting minutes on a motion by Board Member Scales, seconded by Board Member Smith.

The meeting proceeded to substantive items on Jan. 2 and concluded with a motion to adjourn that passed by voice vote.
