The Board of Park Commissioners voted to approve the regular meeting minutes of Sept. 5, 2024, and the joint meeting minutes of Sept. 10, 2024, and then elected officers and confirmed subcommittee rosters.

Christie moved to approve the minutes; a board member seconded the motion and the board passed it by voice vote with no recorded opposition. The board then moved to nominations for officers. A member moved to reappoint Cheryl as chair for a second term; the nomination was seconded by Ellen Ussery and approved by voice vote. For vice chair, a member nominated Ellen Estree; Mary Sallee seconded that nomination and the board approved it by voice vote. The board also voted to keep subcommittee appointments as listed for the coming year; that motion passed by voice vote with no opposition.
