Officials review health department intergovernmental agreement, cybersecurity elements in application

Staff said they will include a cybersecurity-threat analysis and simulate on-site incident responses as part of application materials to the health department. The presenter noted FEMA and other federal resources offer tabletop and simulation tools the county plans to use as part of preparedness exercises.
Officials said they will continue coordinating through the health department, incorporate cyber and continuity planning into grant and application packages, and provide updates as applications and simulations progress. No formal vote or final contractual decision was recorded at the meeting.
