Oklahoma County commissioners on Wednesday approved a series of fund transfers, including a transfer of up to $900,000 in COVID-19 medical reimbursement funds to be split into three equal parts for contracts with nonprofit organizations.
County staff member Jessica said the $900,000 transfer is a drawdown from COVID medical claims and will be moved into the county’s 14-15 account so the commissioners can divide the funds equally into three contracts with nonprofit organizations. "This is the transfer not to exceed 900,000. We drew down from the COVID medical claims, and put those, we this will move the funds into 14 15," Jessica said.
The board also approved a $775 transfer from the American Rescue Plan Act to close social-services projects, including a homeless navigator project and another social-service project that staff said needed to be moved into the 14-15 account. Jessica described the…
