Riverdale City Council voted unanimously to adopt Resolution 2025-33, amending the city’s consolidated fee schedule to add city-purchased letter-of-agency signs for sale to property owners and to clarify how commercial sewer rates are charged.
Chief Warren and Sean Douglas presented the item. “Letter of agency signs are something we've been doing for a couple years now,” Chief Warren said, describing the city's plan to buy signs in bulk at a discount and then sell them directly to businesses to improve compliance and visibility.
Staff said the commercial sewer rate language approved previously in budget sessions had been omitted or unclear in the fee schedule; the resolution moves that charge onto the line where other related fees are listed and clarifies billing so property owners can see why they are being charged.
Councilor Arnold moved to approve Resolution 2025-33; the motion received a second and passed unanimously on roll call. Councilor House, Councilor Richter, Mister Hansen, Mister Arnold and Mister Stevens voted yes. The council did not record any no votes, abstentions or recusals.
