Nurbutis told commissioners the businesses already have names on their glass storefronts (previously approved). Commissioners had no substantive questions and approved both permits together. "We're just changing the sign faces on the existing signs on the property," Robbie said. Arroyo described the change as part of a bank acquisition: "We legally closed on July 1, and we're in the final stages of our systems conversion," he said, and indicated the branch would operate under the Old Second name beginning Monday, Oct. 20. Commissioners approved the replacement sign faces as submitted; the motion was moved by Commissioner Willoughby and seconded by Commissioner Blonsky. Roll-call votes recorded Aye from Commissioners Blonsky, Cernovich, Willoughby, Fusconi and Chairman Cashman.
