Deltona orders cleanup and pool sanitation at Joyner Drive property within 14 days

Code compliance officer Bashir Turkzi said the pool had accumulated algae and the property had significant vine overgrowth encroaching on the house, blocking access. Turkzi recommended a 14-day compliance period and a $25-per-day fine per violation if not corrected. The magistrate ordered abatement of the algae/unsanitary condition (pool to be drained or chemically treated and water cleared) and removal of vine growth from the house and surrounding areas by 4:00 p.m. on Nov. 5, 2025.
