City to close municipal building for basement mold remediation and sanitary-line work; staff reports business retention visit and adjusted superload schedule

Administration reported a business retention visit to Hitachi (the transcript referred to 'Hitachi Eskimo') to discuss workforce and recruitment concerns; staff said the company faces retirements among longtime employees and city staff will coordinate with Ohio Department of Job and Family Services teams to assist recruitment. The city also noted that a set of oversized 'superloads' expected to pass through the area had their schedule adjusted and will now travel on successive Sundays beginning this coming Sunday.
