Commission approves corrected Sept. 24 minutes; two commissioners abstain

The Sunnyvale Housing and Human Services Commission on Oct. 22 approved the meeting minutes from Sept. 24 after staff reported a minor administrative correction to the minutes.

City staff told the commission by email that the minutes had been corrected to reflect chair and vice chair information and to remove Commissioner Davis from the Sept. 24 consent-calendar roll call because he was not in attendance. Commissioner Duncan moved to approve the minutes with staff’s changes; Commissioner Stewart seconded.

The roll-call vote recorded four votes in favor and two abstentions. The recording officer announced that Commissioner Weiss abstained and Commissioner Davis abstained; Chair Friedlander was absent. The motion carried with four commissioners voting yes.

The correction will be incorporated when the minutes are published, staff said.
