Councilman Henke raised concerns about pay disparities between clerical and patrol positions during discussion but the council proceeded to roll call votes. The ordinance passed on final reading with a recorded 9–0 outcome on the third and final vote.
Councilmembers opened the public comment period on the ordinance; no members of the public spoke. The clerk completed the roll call and the ordinance was adopted.
