SAN DIEGO — The Finance and Risk Management Committee on Oct. 16 directed staff to check availability to move the committee’s regular meeting time from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Chula Vista City Hall.
Vice Chair Suzuki said she pulled item 2 from the consent calendar because it would be difficult for her to attend a 3 p.m. meeting on days she has afternoon hearings; she asked the committee to consider a 4 p.m. start so meetings would more easily conclude by 5 p.m. Director Azusa said she would second the change if meetings remained at the Chula Vista location. After discussion, a motion was made to send item 2 back to staff to check on Chula Vista City Hall availability for a 4:00 p.m. start; a second was recorded and the committee adopted the direction by roll call.
The roll call recorded affirmative votes from Director Hsunseth, Director Titsuki and Chair Vita Siamani. Committee members asked staff to confirm availability and return with a revised meeting schedule for committee and board consideration.
