Commissioners approve consent agenda, grant increases, permits and property actions

The Trumbull County Board of Commissioners voted unanimously to approve a slate of routine and substantive items at their meeting.

The board approved minutes and video recordings for previous meetings, bills, transfers and several appropriation requests, and signed an addendum increasing a community corrections grant award for the Trumbull County Adult Probation Department by $101,886. Commissioners also authorized payment of the Ohio EPA annual discharge fee of $8,086 for the county stormwater Phase II program; adopted a resolution recognizing county 9-1-1 personnel as first responders; authorized city hospital revenue bonds; granted multiple hauling, supplier fleet and right-of-way permits; approved two corrective-action items tied to floodplain/FEMA/ODNR audit findings and a related real-estate escrow payment of $18,769.69; established an installment payment plan for curb-box/service-connection assessments at $650 per curb box; approved a personnel slate for Job and Family Services hires; renewed a one-year contract with Trinity Services Group Inc. for food-service consulting at the Adult Justice Center; and approved a one-day unpaid suspension for a building-maintenance employee.
