The board adopted the newly revised 12th edition of Robert's Rules of Order for use during calendar year 2025 after Superintendent Doctor Horton recommended the change. The motion passed, recorded in the meeting as 7 to 0.
The board also approved continuing board-member attendance at mandated Georgia School Boards Association (GSBA) training for 2025 so members may attend approved training online or in person without seeking board approval for each session. Superintendent Horton said approved training is required by law; the motion passed 7 to 0.
