Hunt County Commissioners Court on Oct. 16 approved a resolution to participate in Tax Increment Reinvestment Zone (TIRZ) No. 2 created by the City of Caddo Mills, contingent on the county’s receipt of the city’s ordinance number and a copy of the ordinance.
County Judge Stovall presided over the special session where Jordan Sawyer, regional director with P3 Works, presented the city’s request and described the TIRZ proposal as a 30-year development program that would cover about 4,100 acres on the east side of Caddo Mills.
