Ryan Westra provided the Committee of the Whole with a brief update on ongoing public-works projects and near-term work under way.
Westra reported the Anderson City drainage area sewer-separation project is complete except for minor punch-list items and said site work at Johnson Park is ongoing. He said entrance improvements at the Atlantic Street garage (Lot A) have been completed and that the contractor for repairs to the apparatus floor at Firehouse Engine 2 has applied for building permits and work should begin soon.
Other items mentioned included East Kennedy pump-station work and the annual resurfacing program. Westra noted concrete repairs are required on the apparatus floor at Firehouse Engine 2 and that building permits have been submitted by the contractor.
Westra’s update was brief and informational; no formal action or vote was recorded on these items in the transcript.
