Hunt County Commissioners Court on Tuesday approved a $5,000 grant to Senior Center Resources and Transit, Inc. for the Texas Feeding Texas Home Delivery Meal Grant Program and carried several routine financial items including accounts payable, line-item transfers and budget amendments.
At the start of the special session the court said it had received the nonprofit’s most recent audit and found it in order, addressing a concern raised at the prior meeting. The court then voted to authorize the county to make the $5,000 grant to Senior Center Resources and Transit, Inc. for the Feeding Texas home-delivery meals program.
The court additionally approved accounts payable, authorized line-item transfers and approved budget amendments after motions and seconds; each motion carried with the court voting in favor.
The court opened public testimony but no speakers addressed the meeting. The session adjourned at 10:06 a.m.
