The Village Board accepted the Planning & Zoning Commission’s recommendation to approve the preliminary and final plat for what the record calls the Bridal Carrier Subdivision, consolidating four parcels owned by R&L Carriers at 2100 Rochester Road.
Staff reported the site — a former Yellow Freight property — meets M-1 zoning standards and that prior special-use approvals and variances had been addressed in earlier board actions. One condition of approval is that the subdivision plat must be recorded before issuing final occupancy for the planned expansion of the building.
An engineer for the applicant was present to answer questions; the Planning & Zoning Commission held the public hearing and recommended approval. The recommendation to accept the commission’s action carried 6–0. The board agreed the enacting ordinance (Ordinance 2144) could be placed on a future consent agenda for final adoption once recording conditions are met.
The planning staff noted the record requirement and the board placed the approving ordinance on future consent.
