Trustees approved the waiver of first reading and the ordinance passed on roll call (vote recorded as unanimous).
Resolution 2025-020 — MICA bylaws extension: Administrator Zilfel explained the Municipal Insurance Cooperative Agency (MICA) has served the village since 1995 and the proposed bylaws extend MICA's term and align withdrawal-notice requirements with recent state preemption (reducing required notice to 90 days). Trustees approved the resolution on roll call (vote recorded as unanimous).
Ratification of Metropolitan Alliance of Police agreement: After executive session trustees moved to ratify a negotiated contract between the village and the Metropolitan Alliance of Police. The board voted to approve the agreement in open session; the roll-call tally was 6-0.
