Hunt County court clears consent agenda and routine items; adopts reinvestment zone for 50‑MW solar project, moves procurement policy to executive session

Hunt County Commissioners Court on Oct. 14 approved a broad consent and action calendar of routine items — including minutes, payables, road and utility crossing agreements, plats and budget reports — and readopted a county reinvestment zone used by a developer for a proposed 50‑megawatt solar facility south of Greenville. The court also moved consideration of a written procurement policy into executive session and created a separate fund to track opioid abatement settlement receipts.

The court approved the minutes from the Sept. 23 regular session and the Sept. 30 special session. Commissioners approved the expense calendar (with two clerical line‑item corrections noted by the court) and voted to approve accounts payable, line‑item transfers and budget amendments.
