Later in the meeting Assistant City Manager Moises Lopez introduced two college‑age exchange participants from Glendora’s sister city relationship with Moka, Japan. Lopez said Maya Kokubu and Haruto Hiwata are participating in a six‑week exchange that includes rotations through city departments, visits with local businesses and a video exchange with Glendora High School students. Both students spoke briefly and thanked the council for the opportunity.
