The Corvallis Planning Commission took multiple formal actions April 2, 2025. Key outcomes:
- Climate Friendly Area package (Ninth Street corridor): Planning Commission voted to recommend City Council approve a legislative zone change (ZDC‑2024‑06), Land Development Code text amendments (LDT‑2024‑03) and a Comprehensive Plan amendment (CPA‑2024‑03). All three motions passed with recorded ayes from the five commissioners present. These are recommendations to City Council and do not constitute final city action.
- Sign regulations update (LDT‑2024‑05): The Commission recommended City Council approve the sign regulation text amendments, including consolidated definitions, added flag/flagpole standards and adjustments to attached sign height allowances. Motion passed unanimously.
- Routine administrative actions: The commission approved minutes for March 19, 2025 and approved the annual work plan and unresolved planning issues list. Both motions passed without recorded opposition.
