The committee voted to approve “docket number 20Four-two400One-two401, section 2,” with an amendment rejecting the reference to the National Society of Genetic Counselors’ Code of Ethics, section 2, “Genetic Counselors and Their Clients,” paragraph 3. Representative Rasor moved the measure; the motion carried without further discussion.
Committee members said the change was made to ensure the rule language aligned with Idaho statute rather than an external professional code. No fiscal impact or additional implementation instructions were discussed during the motion.
The committee took the minutes from its Jan. 22 meeting earlier in the session and approved them by voice vote before turning to the rules docket.
