The Senate adopted House Joint Resolution 1001, which sets a joint session for the governor's address, on a recorded vote of 31 yeas, 0 nays, 0 absent, 1 excused and 3 vacant, Majority Leader Rodriguez moved. The chamber also adopted Senate Resolution 2 and Senate Joint Resolution 2, both concerning appointment of officers and employees for the 75th General Assembly, each by recorded vote of 31 yeas, 0 nays, 0 absent, 1 excused and 3 vacant.
