BOISE, Idaho — The House State Affairs Committee voted to introduce RS31836, a memorial asking the U.S. Supreme Court to reconsider its 2015 ruling in Obergefell v. Hodges, and the panel also took up two other resolutions during a morning session in Boise.
Representative Heather Scott, R‑2A, the sponsor of RS31836, said the memorial is intended to “reaffirm our state authority to regulate marriage” and to encourage the Supreme Court to revisit Obergefell.
