The committee voted to adopt the minutes from Monday, Feb. 17, by voice vote. Representative Achilles moved to adopt the minutes; the motion carried.
Members also approved motions to introduce several RS drafting numbers: RS 32,265 (small brewer parity legislation introduced by Representative Vito Barbieri and moved by Representative Scott), RS 32,349 (moved by Representative Polonka), and RS 32,412 (election consolidation and timeline standardization, introduced by Representative Brandon Mitchell and moved by Representative Barbieri). Committee members took those introductions by voice vote and the motions carried.
Separately, the committee considered House Bill 230 (indecent exhibitions) and voted to send it to the House floor with a due‑pass recommendation; that action is covered in the committee’s detailed report on H 230.
These procedural approvals do not themselves change law; introducing an RS number places the draft or proposal on the committee’s docket for future hearings, and adopting minutes approves the official record of the committee.
