The Milton School Committee voted to approve three Pierce Middle School trips for spring 2026.

The approved trips are: Pierce Middle School seventh‑grade Spanish and Latin trip to New York, May 7–9, 2026; Pierce Middle School seventh‑grade trip to Quebec City, May 2026; and the Pierce Middle School eighth‑grade trip to Washington, D.C., May 2026. The committee had reviewed supervision plans, cost, safety measures and detailed itineraries at the Oct. 8 meeting and had the trip packets again in members’ folders.

A committee member moved to approve the three trips; the committee voiced support and the motion passed. Committee members said consolidating trips and using 1 vendor were goals to promote equity and calendar clarity.
