Committee staff reported that federal funding restriction language, typically included in Health and Welfare bills, was inadvertently omitted from bills the committee acted on last week. A motion to add that language to the Division of Public Health and the Child, Youth and Family Services bills was offered and placed on the screen for the committee.
Representative Price requested unanimous consent to accept the language as shown. No members objected; the committee approved the language by unanimous consent and the bills will be updated accordingly.
Committee staff said the addition is consistent with language the committee has included in prior Health and Welfare bills to address limitations on federal funding and aligns those bills with standard committee practice.
