Idaho Commission on Aging presents needs assessment, outlines 2024–2028 state plan goals

Taylor said the needs assessment collected 1,109 unique responses from older Idahoans across 37 of 44 counties using in-person events and surveys available online, by phone and on paper. The commission analyzed responses across four cohorts — all respondents, high-risk respondents (those reporting fair, poor, or very poor quality of life), and separate urban and rural groups — to identify gaps that affect the ability of older Idahoans to stay safely in their communities.
