DFM files $920,000 of technical corrections to governor's revised budget

The Division of Financial Management told the Joint Finance-Appropriations Committee on Jan. 13 that the governor submitted about $920,000 in technical corrections to his revised budget.
A DFM representative, identified in committee as Ms. Wolf, told the panel the revisions correct four items the administration missed or misallocated after the governor filed his recommendation. "The total revision amount was about 920,000," she said, adding the corrections included fund reclassification and a calculation change for a new statutory allocation.
The largest change, about $870,000, corrected how the Idaho Digital Learning Academy (IDLA) was included in the calculation for the Common Education Channel (CEC) funding formula after new code from the last session. Another correction—$45,000—moved swiCap billing for the Legislative Services Office into the general fund. A $5,000 adjustment affected two Department of Health and Welfare employees whose pay would have fallen below a new pay grade. One correction had no fiscal impact but adjusted how an endowment fund adjustment for Idaho State University was recorded.
Ms. Wolf said the items were routine technical corrections and invited questions; the committee had none and proceeded to subsequent agenda items.
