JFAC approves Idaho State Liquor Division enhancements including temp-staff pay increase and store improvements

The committee approved a package that included a $57,400 ongoing increase to raise temp retail staff hourly rates, $72,000 ongoing for shrink-wrap costs associated with a new freight contract, $75,000 one-time for bringing the agency website into web-content accessibility compliance, and an appropriation for replacement retail and warehouse equipment and IT hardware. The replacement items list included shelving, counters, lighting, coolers, flooring and two fleet vehicles with cargo security modifications.
Representative Petzke moved the motion and a second was recorded; the committee approved the package and sent it forward with a due-pass recommendation.
Ending: The Division will be authorized to implement the approved store and operational improvements subject to standard budget execution and reporting processes.
