DFM reports roughly $920,000 in corrections to governor's recommended budget
Summary
A Division of Financial Management memo to the committee documented about $920,000 in revisions to the governor's recommended budget, driven largely by a correction to calculations for the Idaho Digital Learning Academy and a fund reclassification for legislative services billing.

The committee heard a brief presentation of revisions to the governor's recommended budget on Monday from a Division of Financial Management representative.
"The total revision amount was about 920,000," the DFM presenter said, describing four technical corrections submitted in the governor's revised budget memo. The largest item, about $870,000, corrected how the Idaho Digital Learning Academy was included in calculations for the Committee on Employee Compensation; the presenter said new code passed last session changed the required calculation and the agency had missed that in the original submission.
Another correction moved $45,000 in SWICap billing for the Legislative Services Office into the proper general fund. The presenter also said a personnel correction at the Department of Health and Welfare created a $5,000 adjustment to prevent two employees from falling below a new pay grade. Finally, an endowment fund entry for Idaho State University was corrected with no fiscal impact.
The Division of Financial Management representative said the items were typical post-submission corrections: bookkeeping or calculation fixes discovered after budget papers were filed. She told the committee the revisions had been submitted and offered to answer questions; none were raised at the hearing.
No formal committee action was recorded on the memo beyond receiving the presentation. The items will be reflected in the governor's revised recommendation and the committee's materials as the session proceeds.
