Jared Tetrault, Deputy Division Manager for Legislative Services Budget and Policy Analysis Division, told the committee the finalized figure had been rounded from $21,901.50 and that “that language, that dollar amount is required to be in the bill so that the Department of Education knows how much to distribute per support unit.”
Committee leadership requested unanimous consent to include the calculated per‑support‑unit amount in the public‑schools maintenance bill. With no objection, the chair ordered the change adopted.
The correction does not change total program funding shown elsewhere in the bill text; it supplies the explicit per‑support‑unit dollar amount necessary for the Department of Education to implement distributions as the statute and appropriation require.
