Nichols said she had compiled a more detailed presentation and was willing to bring the matter back for a hearing on the merits. Some committee members said they preferred a hearing before floor action; others suggested the technical step of printing and then returning the resolution to the committee for a hearing after introduction. The committee ultimately voted to send RS 32224 to print and the sponsor said it would be pulled back to the committee when it reached the tenth order on the Senate calendar so a hearing could be scheduled.
