Rules Committee assigns members two rules each, defers votes until agencies present

The chairwoman confirmed the schedule and asked members to direct rule questions to either Vice Chair Zito, the chairwoman, or the committee secretary, who will take a silent roll at meetings. The chairwoman also told members “we are going to meet again on Tuesday and start the rules process.”
Committee members were told binders containing the draft rules are available. No formal motions or votes were taken at the meeting; the committee set process and scheduling directions but made no final decisions on any rule.
