Stop‑arm camera enforcement: Operations and transportation staff reported 256 stop-arm camera violations during a 14-day school period; about half of those violations met law‑enforcement verification standards for civil citation. "We're in the stop arm business to protect our students and our drivers," an operations presenter said, adding that the cameras are meant as a deterrent and safety tool.
Electric-bus charging and routing: The division said it has received two charging stations for bus-charging infrastructure tied to a grant for electric buses and plans to locate chargers at the CTEC bus loop to take advantage of on-site solar generation; installation by the vendor is expected this spring, contingent on final grant funding.
Staffing and routing: Morning and afternoon ridership snapshots were presented and staff noted an ongoing focus on routing efficiency, a new routing specialist position already added, and plans for an assistant director in transportation.
