Flood Control Executive Committee authorizes website support contract amendment with AndySites

The King County Flood Control District Executive Committee on Feb. 5 authorized the chair to enter into an amendment to the district's website redesign, maintenance and hosting agreement with AndySites Inc.
Clerk read the motion (FCDECM 2025-02) authorizing the chair to amend the contract for ongoing support, maintenance and hosting. Deputy Executive Director Stephen Shower said the district completed the website update in 2024 and that the proposed amendment would continue hosting and upkeep in 2025.
Michelle Clark, the district's executive director, described the site as "award winning" and said the proposed amendment covers ongoing maintenance and hosting. The amendment caps compensation for those services at $4,500 per year without written authorization to exceed that amount, and Shower told the committee that approval would not change the district's 2025 administrative budget, which was adopted in November 2024.
Vice Chair Perry moved the motion and Supervisor McRackbarra seconded. The committee approved the motion on a roll-call vote of 3 ayes and 0 noes; the clerk recorded the vote as unanimous.
This action authorizes the chair to finalize the amendment but does not amend the district budget. The committee did not discuss additional funding or programmatic changes connected to the website work.
The committee's approval applies only to the contract amendment described in the motion; any future increase above the $4,500 annual cap would require written authorization.
