He cited an example in the draft that benefit field operations has 418 FTEs while the Department of Agriculture has 249 FTEs. The stated aim of the RS is to ensure taxpayer dollars are managed with a clearer line of oversight.
Committee members offered no substantive questions during this meeting. Senator Keiser moved to send RS 32014 to print and Senator Seiderfeld seconded. The committee voted in favor by voice vote and ordered the request printed for introduction and future hearings.
