The Idaho Senate Health and Welfare Committee voted to send the gubernatorial reappointment of Brett Rabinheimer to the Commission for the Blind and Visually Impaired to the full Senate with a recommendation that the Senate confirm the appointment.
The committee considered the reappointment during its meeting and accepted a motion to forward it to the floor. Senator Wintrow moved the motion; a second was recorded. “I move to send the gubernatorial appointment of Bridal Robbenheimer to the Commission for the Blind and Visually Impaired to the Senate floor for recommendation that she be confirmed by the Senate,” Senator Wintrow said during the hearing. The chair called for the question and members voiced their approval.
The committee recorded the motion as moved by Senator Wintrow and seconded by another member; the chair announced the voice vote in favor and no recorded opposition. The committee did not discuss additional conditions or qualifications on the record.
The reappointment will next appear on the Senate floor for consideration. The committee did not provide a roll-call tally during the meeting; the action was taken by voice vote.
