Other members, including the committee leadership, supported adopting the recommended number to provide a shared planning baseline.
Miss Figueredo called the roll. The committee reported 16 ayes, 2 nays and 2 absent/excused on the combined chamber vote; the chair stated a majority voted in the affirmative and the revenue number will go forward.
The committee noted this figure will guide upcoming budget work and that further revenue collections later in the spring could alter the fiscal picture before final appropriations.
