The Joint Finance-Appropriations Committee on Feb. 6 accepted several technical corrections to maintenance bills the committee had approved in January and voted to cap full-time-equivalent (FTP) positions for the constitutional officers at 431.9.
The corrections were described to the committee as editorial fixes that reconcile enacted language with current budget structure. Keith Bybee, Division Manager for Budget Policy Analysis with the Legislative Services Office, said one change corrects a numeric typo in the constitutional-officers FTP cap and two changes address program-transfer and appropriation references in the K–12 and health and human services sections of the maintenance bills.
