The bill, BL2025-9-56, sponsored by Councilmember Ellis, would restrict parking by box trucks, detached trailers and similar vehicles in certain circumstances while removing a gross-weight standard and excluding school buses. NDOT staff and council members said the Traffic and Parking Commission deferred review and that the committee should wait for that recommendation before taking final action.
