Nueces County meeting to table two agenda items, presiding official says

"If you were here for items number on the agenda ... those are gonna be tabled," the presiding official said, adding, "So if you don't need to be here for anything else ... I'll let you know so you can leave if you choose to." The court also said the items "are going to be tabled when we get to" their place on the agenda, citing a request from the county attorney.
No votes on the items were taken at the start of the meeting. The presiding official's statement indicated the items would be addressed later in the session or at a future time when the county attorney's concerns are resolved.
