The Atoka Industrial Development Authority tabled consideration of a proposed lease with RRP Investments LLC after staff said a new legal description and updated survey are needed before a lease can be drafted.
Staff said the authority lacks a complete legal description for the parcel the company seeks to lease and that surveyor Martin (Lee Martin) has been asked to update a prior survey of the north half of the old ODOT lot to include the additional area under consideration. "I don't have a proposed lease agreement drafted yet, mainly because I'm waiting on a a new legal description for the the property that they're wanting to lease," a staff member said.
Board members agreed to table the item until the updated survey is complete. Staff said the matter will return to the board for final action after the legal boundary is established; they noted a special meeting could be scheduled if necessary.
No vote tally was recorded in the transcript for the tabling; members accepted the staff recommendation to delay final action until documentation is complete.
