During a council discussion about the Williamson Road traffic-pattern pilot, Councilman Nash asked whether staff would collect speed and volume data. Councilman Nash said he had driven the roadway to test the new pattern and wanted to know if the devices that measure speed and volumes were being used.
Mr. Roman, representing the transportation team, responded that the transportation team "will definitely be taking counts, statistics, and, we'll have all of that available" during the test project. Council staff reminded the public the Williamson Road project is a six-month pilot and encouraged residents to share feedback while the pilot is in effect.
No formal action or vote was taken during this exchange; staff said they would provide data as the pilot proceeds.
