Staff described onboarding activities offered over the summer, including optional in-person sessions where new employees received equipment and accounts, and a new-teacher orientation preceding the start of school; the district reported 192 employees attended in-person onboarding and 186 new teachers attended orientation.
Superintendent's staff said ongoing recruitment will continue with virtual job fairs and classified job fairs this fall, and a student-teacher recruitment event to retain prospective hires. No action was required; the report was informational.
