Seven volunteer attorneys helped 14 clients at the clinic, which was held at a casino resort on tribal land; speakers said there were no security concerns and that attendees expressed appreciation for the volunteer effort.
Council members said they plan two additional clinics next year—one possibly on the peninsula and another in Eastern Washington—and invited governors who are interested in volunteering to stay tuned for details.
